About the Role and Responsibilities
Position:Software Development Engineer
Location:Bangalore,Karnataka
Primary Responsibilities:
Candidate will be mainly responsible to support on boarding of new
partners and support existing partners to help deploy and use the
software the engineering team produces
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree is required
2. Between 2-4 years experience in deploying web based applications
primarily built using Microsoft .NET technologies
3. Experience in tracking multiple builds of applications across
various partners
4. Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must
Competencies / Skill sets required for the role:
1. Sound knowledge of IIS Management, Component Services configurations
2. Good understanding of the working of database driven web
applications built using Microsoft technologies
3. Experience in deploying and configuring web based applications
using ASP.NET in IIS
4. Experience in working with SQL Server 2005/2008 to run scripts,
upgrade databases
5. Exposure to using Visual Studio 2010/2008 IDE is an advantage
6. Experience in customer/partner interactions is a must
7. Experience in troubleshooting and fixing setup/configuration issues
reported by partners/customers
8. Prior experience of working with globally distributed teams is desirable
